It's a season to celebrate A Father, A Lover, A shepherd and A Prophet and MORE!!!!
I wrote this piece some years ago purposefully for November the 7th.
To kick start what I call TLP (Thursday Lively Poetry) This is:
Ewe
Thanks for being meek and mild as the river
Your heart beats for Christ even your liver
They linger in hope for the better
Your lungs longs for the alpha
And the Omega
The father's word
Is what you always want to see
You made it your currency
You even swim in it's excellent sea
We celebrate your Excellency.
Our pastor
Not just because of the religion
But to lead in the right pasture
The gathering of sons, he prays us to really join
I'll be an incomplete building
If the blocks to mould me is not you
I'm a goat turning to be ewe
Thanks again Dad, for being you
Even though a mansion in the eyes
Of men of this fading world
You lash us with, changing words
The father is your price
You call God blessing
I wonder how, If it doesn't bless sin
Following you just makes me lessen
Your word, always a lesson
All round, you're really blessing.
No wonder you make me see sin
Not to hurt me, or praise him
Not admire him, nor reveal my past deed
But to learn from the things you did
You was raised, so I could learn him.
Happy birthday Dad!
