Christianity is definitely fun! Infact there's no better fun!
I think where the problem is, that makes it look like Christianity isn't fun is the appetite of man. Man's value system or interpretation of enjoyment or in your words "fun" According to Matthew 16:23, Jesus helps us understand that the problem is a man's appetite or taste bud. Except it has been changed, he cannot enjoy the things of God. They won't seem like fun to him. They'll appear to be boring... But when you have taken knowledge to some level, you grow appetite to begin to savour the things of God.
Psalms 16:11 clearly shows us that there are endless expanse of pleasures in God higher than what exists in the realm of man. But you need to grow appetite to be able to access them or even appreciate them.
