Just thought to share a few points that blessed me from Numbers 26:52-56
I saw how a difference was put between the land and the inheritance in verses 54 and 55. Very striking...

Read Numbers 26:53 again
Aloud this time...
It boldly says the land was given for the inheritance that is: for the purpose of getting the inheritance...
Because it's easy to assume that the land of the "ites" or heights (Canaanites, Hittites, Jebusites and so on ) was the inheritance of the Israelites...
(BTW... Israelites... Hmmm... They got the "ites" thing tooo... Just noticed that, while typing this sha😅 ... Those guys were made for the heights from the beginning...)
A strong preposition, "Notwithstanding" was used at the beginning of verse 55 showing that the discussion of inheritance was unmistakably different from that of the physical land.
This brings back to memory, teachings about how the promised land is not the final destination but rather, only a land to get a promise...
So the promised land is only a means to an end.
It is the promised Land but also a Land of another Promise!
Let's talk more about what this inheritance really is later this week yeah??

Vey true! It's the Land of The Promise, not The Promise. (Inheritance)
Saying this in another way would mean the Land that holds the promise or Inheritance.
