The Sincere Milk of the Word
Dearly Beloved Brethen of the Age of the Reign of Life.

You know it's easy to hear so many revelations and get used to them and truly understand them as the spirit giveth understanding and feel good about hearing the truth and bask in the Euphoria of it.

And then when you hear about milk of the word, you can easily feel like Oh... I must have passed this level! (I didn't say you haven't 🙃)
It seems mere... Basic... Ordinary

But have you ever been in that position where something that was like a tall commandment for you which you're still trusting God to keep, and then you hear during a teaching and see proofs in Scripture where that particular thing was wrought in men by pure milk of the Word???
And you're like... Really???
God abeg 🤲😩
With all my revelation...

I stand to acknowledge the power and potency in the sincere milk of the Word!
In Matt. 5:18 Jesus affirms that no jot nor tittle of the Word of God would pass away before coming to fulfillment!

The Milk of the Word is a proceeding out of the mouth of the Lord which when it is sourced from everlasting light, is able to make much power available!!!
Pst Dimeji Elugbadebo made a striking statement during singles rendezvous and I quote: "Faith in milk is supposed to separate a man from confidence in the natural". You'd agree with me that it takes lot of power to do that.
So until we begin to rightly discern the allocation of the milk we might not be able to access the power it is supposed to deliver to us. So while we would not tabernacle with the milk of the Word, we would also not overlook it!
While we would pay attention to the path to Eternal life that God is revealing and hear all the tall revelations, we would also discern rightly and not despise what God has put in the Milk of the Word to do in us.
It is an important part of the gospel on which the whole building would rest. Our ability to journey well in meat and even strong meat is by how much  of milk of the Word we have used (not just the one we've heard).

I bless God for the restoration of the content of the pure milk of the word to the church again🙌. I'm still waiting and expectant for the Lord to once again open up the details of what the early church were taught as the apostles doctrine.

The Psalmist said in
Psalms 19:13," Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression."

I now see that it is being presumptuous and a great transgression to despise the milk of the Word!
Hei... God😩🤲
We must not allow the privilege of hearing great revelations make us commit this great transgression.
Romans 12:3 says "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

God knows most perfectly what is lacking in the building of every man and that is why he wants to supply it by taking us back to milk from time to time. We must be humble enough to pay attention when the Lord is turning our attention to seemingly simple things .

It is the same Mouth that is speaking when you're hearing the Servant and the Two Prophets and also when you hear about how you should be a student of scripture or how you should pray aloud until you can hear what you're saying.
It is the same Lord!
Do not despise it!!!

Shalom Brethren ❤️

The Physical Reality of the Cross
I replied Uncle Jay's post on "what really happened on the Cross?" and I felt I should breathe it on here as well.

It's very interesting that some of us think that Jesus was just simply hanged and then, after a while, died. Nah, that was not the case.
I was speaking with one of my students the other day, and he was giving me a graphic description of how horrifying staying on the Cross was for Jesus. We all know about the lashes, the nailing, and the spitting on, but staying on the Cross was a whole different torture for Jesus.

The Struggle for Breath:
Since His leg wasn't standing on anything, and His arms were wide apart, His chest couldn’t find ease for the breathing process. He could easily inhale, but exhaling was difficult because He was literally hanging on His shoulders. It's like doing a dead hang, but worse (many of us can't even do that for more than 60 seconds; Jesus stayed there for hours).

The Physical Cost:
Because there was weight on His diaphragm and air couldn't come out easily, He had to drag His body up constantly, pulling on the nails in His legs and His wrists. This must have caused excruciating pain because the nails were close to His nerves. He went on with that until His muscles started giving way and cramping.

The Choice to Stay:
He had to go through all of that just to stay on the Cross when He actually had what it takes to get out and be freed from the pain, but He didn't.
He stayed because  He saw a greater glory ahead of Him and knew that leaving at that point would lead to an abortion of the crowning of all the works He had been doing before that point. That last suffering was necessary for all the sufferings He had been going through to count and matter.

Our Own Seasons on the Cross:
I believe the Cross was symbolic to typify how those of us who follow the Lord will have to stay on our cross at certain seasons of our lives.
We have heard "carry your cross" and "bear your cross"—that's one thing I know we'll have to do all our lives; we'll carry our cross until we die. But staying on our cross in the pain and the hurt, and allowing the timing of the Cross to fulfill its course without deciding to leave in the midst of it, will bring us breakthroughs.

> Just as Jesus had the power to leave that Cross, sometimes we have what it takes to not stay on our cross and God will not be angry! But staying will bring us breakthroughs in the spirit that a thousand days of fasting and prayer wouldn't bring us.>

My Daily Prayer:
So, my prayer every day is that the Lord will teach me wisdom on how to:

•   Stay on the Cross and bear the pain.
•   Learn the right heart posture to have while enduring the pain.
•  Bless in pain and not curse in pain, just like Jesus, who could still bless in that state and commit His life to God when His breath was giving way.
• I want to trust God enough to stay on the Cross even when it seems like my physical body is giving way.

We can't stake our life on the Promise of eternal life and not be serious with God. Either we don't understand what we're saying, or we've been bewitched. Ahhh, please we shouldn't play with our life if we're not ready to be committed.

The Promise isn't automatically received by being Born Again. Being born again doesn't give it to us; it only gives us entrance to begin the journey. We have to journey to the end to receive it. But it is sure that if we follow God, we will have it. If it were received by being Born Again, the Scriptures wouldn't tell us to make our calling and election sure:
"Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make our calling and election sure: for if we do these things, we shall never fall:"
— 2 Peter 1:10 (KJV)

The journey of salvation requires us to walk diligently. We can't stop being diligent. We can't stop pressing. We can't grow weary of the journey. It won't be easy, but we can have the Promise.

"And we desire that every one of us do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That we be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."
— Hebrews 6:11-12
